Program Outcomes Engineering
- Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
- Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences
- Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
- Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
- Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

About Department:
The Computer Science & Engineering Department is well equipped to impart the latest knowledge demanded by the industries. The department has all the latest software and hardware to keep the students abreast with the emerging technologies. All computers are with latest configuration and with uninterruptable power back up. Institute-Industry interaction is maintained by simulating software industry work environment, arranging study tours, undertaking sponsored projects, arranging seminars by experts from industries on recent topics.
Department constantly monitors the academic performance of students, identifying weaker students and counselling them for their improvements. The department also conducts co-curricular courses on latest software and programming languages as per industry demands. Department continuously encourages the students to present and publish papers in National and International conferences and journals. Computer Science and Engineering Students’ Association (CSESA) is formed for co-curricular and extracurricular development of students.

The department is equipped with latest Dell, HP, Lenovo Computers, installed with latest software’s. Our computer laboratories are well equipped with latest terminals, scanners, printers, Online Ups with Battery backup, multimedia peripherals and legal copies of latest software’s like windows 2003 server, Linux, MS-office, Oracle 10i, Visual Studio, Dot Net Framework and C++. These laboratories support an environment for Networking, Multimedia, Databases, Programming and advanced technologies. We have two Ph.D. faculty members and another two faculty members pursuing Ph.D, and remaining all faculty members are post graduates from reputed institutes. Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been consistently maintaining remarkable results in university. Our department is continuously arranging Expert lectures for the subjects which are there in Syllabus and over and above the syllabus. We have arranged workshops for the students and faculty such as Adobe Flex, Use of animation in Teaching, Recent trends in Electronics and Computer Engineering, DevOps, Full Stack Development, Machine Learning etc

Smart India HACKATHON 2019:
Team from NKOCET CSE department (6 students and 2 faculty mentors) participated in nationwide “Smart India Hackathon 2019” on 2nd& 3rd March 2019. It was 36 hours rigorous coding competition arranged by HRD ministry in collaboration with “Persistent System Limited” and several other private organization and Engineering colleges.
Our Team was shortlisted for problem statement “Daily Construction Site Progress” proposed by “Everest Industries”. Competition was held at “R.K.Goyal Institute, Ghaziabad, Delhi. With this participation all team members got exposure to work on real time solutions in time bound manner. Also everyone realized importance of teamwork
