Industrial Visit of BE Electrical Students at MSEDCL Solapur Circle office, (SCADA Centre), Solapur

A Batch of 65 BE Electrical Engineering Students along with 3 faculty members visited MSEDCL Solapur Circle office, (SCADA Centre), Juni Mill Compound Solapur for subject of PLC and SCADA, On 14th of September 2018, in order to understand the following aspect in SCADA System

  • Operation of SCADA for Distribution System
  • Server Room and Its Working
  • Single line diagram of 15 substations in Solapur
  • SCADA Control room
  • Operation of SCADA to control 15 substation parameter.
  • Communication network between MTU and RTU
  • Load flow analysis for last one year
  • Demand Side Management
  • Reactive Power Management
