List of Documents required  for Admission in Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:-

(1)Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate. –

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2023 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2023.

Or

(ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons  with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);

(2) All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates. –

(i)The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and should obtain non zero positive score in JEE Main Paper I or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2023 and should Obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2023. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in JEE (Main) Paper I over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT-CET 2023.

Or

(ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);

(3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National. –

The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical r Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 45 % marks in the above subjects taken together;

For candidates outside of Maharashtra State
In addition to educational qualification as specified, candidates from Maharashtra State as well as outside Maharashtra State are required to appear & qualify in  Joint Entrance Examination 2023 (JEE-2023) conducted by C.B.S.E., New Delhi for the Academic Year 2023-24 to be eligible for admission.

For the candidates wishing admission under Institute Level Quota
Candidates from Maharashtra State as well as from outside Maharashtra State having educational qualification as specified, are eligible for Institute Level Quota seats.

How to apply

Candidates are advised to follow the rules for admission to First Year Engineering and direct admission to Second Year Engineering degree courses as published by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State from time to time.

However some of the basic guidelines are given below.

All the candidates are advised to submit their applications to the Admission Authorities notified by the Government of Maharashtra on or before the last date of application, unless specified differently elsewhere.
