N. K. Orchid College of Engineering and Technology, Solapur has signed an MOU with NTI Gymnasiet, Eskilstuna, Sweden for students and faculty exchange. Our institute takes the responsibility of arranging, hosting and supervising the visit of Swedish students’ in India and the host institute from Sweden does for our Indian students and faculty members for Sweden visit. This exchange program has been initiated and fully funded by Swedish Higher Education Council.
During the exchange program the students has to complete the hands on project in the decided course. These exchange programs have proved to be effective platforms to share technical knowledge, pedagogical practices and methodologies. They also enable the students and the teachers to learn about the culture, traditions, customs, and value system of another country through living in host families.
For over 75 years, students and host families have broadened their horizons through Rotary Youth Exchange. More than 80 countries and over 8,000 students each year participate in the program, which is administered at the regional level by Rotary districts and at the local level by Rotary clubs
