Funding Proposal :

Funding proposal submitted for DST IPCS division of Rs. Nine  lakhs entitled “Design & Development of Fertilizer Recommendation Engine based on Soil Test Results”

Research Projects Undertaken :

  • A Virtual Reality Construction Kit – This project was done as part of BE (C.S.E.) final project. This project contains hardware and software part. In software part we have built up virtual world of our college through the C++ library.
  • House Building Advances Project as a part of C-Dac’s diploma. This was a project done for Govt. of Maharashtra for P.W.D. The software used was PowerBuilder
    and SQL server.
  • Use of Directory Access Protocol to Create and Maintain Information on Directory Server –This project is implemented as part of M-tech thesis. A server and client side program is written for creating and maintaining information on the directory server.
  • Design and development of context based stock recommendation system which is title of D research work undertaken. A Novel algorithm for prediction of stock prices is developed based on Data Mining concepts and traders are recommended the stock for various signals like BUY, HOLD, SELL.
  • Guided and successfully completed Twenty PG research projects and two are in progress.
  • Guided and successfully completed Thirty Five UG research projects. Out which two sponsored by Persistent Systems Ltd, Pune, One project sponsored by Krishi Vidgan Kendra, Solapur, one sponsored by Sandip Bhagawat, Niramay Rehab, Solapur and one more project sponsored by Awatade Construction, Solapur

Patent Published :

  • Published Indian Patent on “AI based Crop Prediction and Monitoring” which is under examination stage.
  • An Indian patent is published on “Design of an ROV to find dead bodies underwater” which is under examination stage.

Achievements:
A collaborative hands-on international project was completed by Prof. V. V. Bag on “Deciding Topology for a New Network and Network Security in Different Environments”. The project was fully funded by Swedish Higher Education Council.
